“I'm honored to be a member of the Greenwood Lake Commission and to have been elected to be the New Jersey Chairperson. I'm also Vice Chair of the Highlands Economic Development and Tourism Corporation, helping to promote tourism and the business community of the historic highlands area,” says Paul Zarrillo.

As president of O Promotions, Paul prides himself on his innovative approach to the promotions business.  His vision and branding expertise enable him to work with clients on a broad range of campaigns designed to drive companies forward.   As a division of the O Group, a design, branding and marketing firm that specializes in luxury brands, O Promotions regularly creates promotional collateral that is integrated into multifaceted marketing programs.

Paul and his family have enjoyed sharing over 25 years of living in Hewitt on Greenwood Lake, with the many benefits that our area has to offer, as well as, the offerings of New York City.  Their passion for boating, jet skiing, swimming, fishing and ATV riding on and around Greenwood Lake, drives his desire to giveback to the community.   Paul also enjoys trips visiting has daughter and son-in-law in Vermont, as well as spending time in Brooklyn with his son and times when all are together on Greenwood Lake. 


George VurnoNY Chairperson, NY Governor's Representative

Graduated St. John's University with a Business degree and then a Doctorate in Law in 1963. Practiced law for 23 years most of it with the firm of Ludmerer and Vurno in Warwick, NY. In 1986 took over the managing partner roll in Masker Orchards which I have been doing ever since. I have been a member of the GWLC since it's inception.

Have been a resident of Greenwood Lake for over 60 years and a member of the Awosting sailing club on the NJ side of the Lake and racing 16 foot sailboats  with them since 1969.

Presently, am the NY Chairman of the Commission.

I fell in love with Greenwood Lake as a youth, even washing dishes as a teen at Greck's Maplewood Inn. I serve on the Commission, as we all do, totally on a volunteer basis for the love of the Lake trying to keep it in a good state and even to make it better!

Dale Van nimwegen - Treasurer, Greenwood Lake Watershed Management District Representative

Dale joined the Commission in early 2015 as Treasurer and representative from the Greenwood Lake Watershed Management District. A former President of the Awosting Association and lakeside resident for over 35 years, Dale is intimately familiar with the challenges and charms of Greenwood Lake. Dale has extensive business expertise as the current owner of several small business operations in New York and New Jersey, and during her 20+ year career with a Fortune 500 communications technology company. She has leadership and management experience in numerous disciplines, including business startup, development and finance, product line development, sales and operations, and international marketing. Dale is also the Treasurer for the Greenwood Lake Commission.

Clint Smith, Jr., NJ Governor's Representative

Clint represents the N J governor on the Commission and is a retired sales and marketing executive. As an executive from the Industrial Fire Suppression Equipment and Related Hardware Industry, Clint has been associated with the Nat'l Society of Safety Engineers, Nat'l. Fire Protection Assoc. and Manufacturers Agents Nat'l. Assoc. Clint is a current member of the WMEDC.

Paul (Sully) Sullivan, Passaic County, NJ Representative

Paul is Passaic Counties representative to the Commission. Better known as Sully, he is a retired pharmaceutical salesman of 39 years and is the past President of Camp Hope, Erskine Lakes Property Assoc. and St. Catherines Home School Assoc.  Sully is currently serving as director of Erskine Lakes Water & Ecology Board and is also a member of the Ringwood Board of Health.

Eric Pain, NJ Department of Environmental Protection Representative

Eric Pain has been a member of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection since 2003.  Prior to that Eric worked for the Somerset County Park Commission in their Park Ranger Division from 2000-2003.  Eric currently serves as the Superintendent of Ringwood State Park and is responsible for administering the 40,000 acre park.  Eric is a graduate of West Virginia University, with a B.S in Recreation Parks and Tourism Management in the College of Forestry and Agriculture.  In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family as well as fishing and hiking.

Eric Hastings, Village of Greenwood Lake, NY Representative

A 25 year resident of The Village of Greenwood Lake, Eric has operated a West Milford based contract maintenance company since 1987, specializing in onsite environmentally correct cleaning of car dealer inventories, buildings & Equipment. Politically active, Eric served two years as treasurer of The Real Republican Organization of West Milford. Areas of expertise include property development & management. After several years of successful private efforts with various lake related projects Eric sees the GWL Comm. as the best way to upgrade and preserve Greenwood Lake.
