State Law in New York and New Jersey requires that all vessels operating on
Greenwood Lake 18 feet or longer, or any vessel mechanically propelled by a motor 10 hp or greater,
must register with the Greenwood Lake Commission and display a sticker. The monies received help the
Greenwood Lake Commission run programs such as weed harvesting which improve the quality of the
lake for use and enjoyment.
Stickers are available for a single day ($7.50), seven days ($11.25), or the year
(calculated based on the table below).

*a boat is equipped for overnight if it has a bed or bunk and sanitary facilities
such as a toilet, shower, sink, kitchen, whether or not a marine toilet has been removed from the
vessel. Boats may be equipped for overnight whether or not used for overnight stays.
Boat owners can download and print the Sticker Program Application and mail check or
money order to the Greenwood Lake Commission (P.O. Box 1110, Greenwood Lake, NY 10925) or visit any of the locations listed at the end of
the application to obtain a sticker.
